Omega Circle Finds Hope and Healing on New Spirit Lift Me EP

South African gospel group Omega Circle has officially released its long-awaited EP, Spirit Lift Me, a five-track worship project that delivers a timely message of hope, faith and encouragement for believers navigating life’s uncertainties.

The EP arrives at a time when many people are searching for peace and spiritual reassurance, making its message especially relevant. Through heartfelt lyrics and worship-driven melodies, Omega Circle invites listeners into a deeper encounter with God while reminding them that His presence remains constant through every season.

The project features five songs: Spirit Lift MeUngasabiNgembatheRejoice, and Lefka Laka, featuring The Cool. Each track contributes to a worship journey that begins with surrender, moves through trust during difficult moments, and concludes with joyful praise.

Among the songs, “Ngembathe” has quickly become the standout record. Translating to “Cover Me,” the worship anthem is a moving prayer asking God for His protection and guidance.

Its memorable chorus—

“Ngembathe ngembathe, Ngaphansi kwamaphiko akho…”

has resonated deeply with listeners, many of whom have embraced the song during personal prayer, church worship sessions and inspirational content shared online.

The song’s success extends beyond streaming platforms. More than 700 user-generated videos have already been created using “Ngembathe,” making it Omega Circle’s fastest-growing release to date.

Reflecting on the response, the group said:

“The response to Ngembathe has been truly humbling. Seeing more than 700 user-generated videos created with the song is a significant milestone for us and a clear sign that the music is resonating with people on a deeply personal level. Our prayer has always been that these songs would minister to people and remind them that God is with them through every season.”

The EP also showcases the group’s versatility. While “Spirit Lift Me” serves as a heartfelt prayer for renewal, “Ungasabi” encourages believers not to fear. “Rejoice” celebrates the joy found in Christ, while “Lefka Laka” featuring The Cool introduces a fresh contemporary gospel sound without compromising the project’s worship foundation.

With Spirit Lift Me, Omega Circle continues building its reputation as one of South Africa’s emerging gospel acts, producing music that ministers beyond the church walls. If the early reception to “Ngembathe” is any indication, this EP is likely to remain on gospel playlists for months to come.
