5 FOLD WORSHIP Releases New Single “Glorious God,” Blending Traditional and Contemporary Gospel

Beloved church worship collective 5 FOLD WORSHIP has officially released their highly anticipated new single, “Glorious God,” a track that seamlessly blends Traditional and Contemporary Gospel. The song highlights the group’s signature passion, unity, and spiritual depth, qualities that have cemented their reputation as one of the region’s most cherished worship ministries.

“All our songs are about glorifying God but also point the listener back to the author and finisher of our faith—Jesus Christ,” says Worship Leader Bello Mpendulo. With “Glorious God,” the collective delivers a heartfelt worship experience that exalts God, inviting listeners into a space of reflection and praise. The song balances soulful melodies with powerful harmonies, creating a worship atmosphere that resonates across age groups and musical preferences.

Formed within Five Fold Ministries Church in Mamelodi, Pretoria, 5 FOLD WORSHIP consists of 15 musicians, including 10 singers and five instrumentalists. Their mission is to spread the Gospel through music that prioritizes both excellence and authenticity.

“It has always been our Pastor’s vision to one day record the worship team professionally,” Mpendulo explains. That vision gained momentum when the church welcomed a new Vocal Director and Musical Director two years ago. “We started working towards making that dream a reality. And here we are today.”

Although new to the professional Gospel music scene, 5 FOLD WORSHIP has experienced a smooth start. “By God’s grace, we have not yet faced many challenges in these early stages. Being an in-house worship team has made it easier to work together, even on a professional level,” Mpendulo shares. The group remains focused on its core mandate: preaching the Gospel through music that moves hearts and uplifts spirits.

This festive season, the collective is driving their new single with intentional outreach, aiming to engage a growing audience. “Glorious God” also serves as a lead-up to their upcoming 11-track album, crafted to inspire, uplift, and bring listeners closer to God. The full project is scheduled for release in 2026, promising a rich collection of spiritually resonant music.

5 FOLD WORSHIP originates from Five Fold Ministries Church in Mamelodi, under the leadership of Pastors Sipho and Sophie Malete. The team is a dynamic ensemble of young Gospel ministers dedicated to creating spiritually rich music. Their sound, rooted in both Traditional and Contemporary Gospel, is expressed through original, in-house compositions developed by the gifted members of the collective.
