Spirit Focus: Sfarzo Tree Unites Nontokozo Mkhize, Makhanj, MKeys & Reed on Spirit-Led the “Bawo Vula Medley”

After months of social media calling for its release, Sfarzo Rtee finally unveils the “Bawo Vula Medley” – the third life of his breakout record. The new version brings together Nontokozo Mkhize, Makhanj, Mkeys, and Reed for a stripped-down, prayerful rework that pushes amapiano gospel into deeper spiritual territory. The original Bawo Vula introduced Sfarzo Rtee and Makhanj’s message of forgiveness and divine intervention. The second version featured Kelvin Momo on a high-energy remix that took the record to dance floors nationwide. This third version was held back deliberately.

“Social media had been bullying me for months to drop this medley,” Sfarzo Rtee says. “But I was held back because I wanted to perfect the features. This song has had three lives now, and each one had to compliment the last. I wasn’t going to release it until the features felt right.”

The result is a medley that strips the record back to its spiritual core. Makhanj carries the original plea for strength and forgiveness, her vocals grounding the song in surrender and grace. Nontokozo Mkhize enters with raw, gospel-led intercession, crying out for doors to be opened and declaring that breakthrough is coming. Bawo Vula means “Father, open the doors,” and her delivery makes that prayer feel immediate. Mkeys and fts Reed join to reinforce the prayer for peace, success, and continued blessing, balancing the groove with reverence and keeping God at the centre without losing the dance floor energy.
