On Saturday, 24 May 2025, the Mardi Gras Theatre at Carnival City in Boksburg transformed into a sanctuary of worship as gospel singer Ntsamaeng Motloung hosted her much-anticipated live recording, “The Visitation.” The event was a profound spiritual experience, drawing attendees from across South Africa to partake in an evening of heartfelt praise and worship.

Born and raised in the Free State and now based in Johannesburg, Ntsamaeng’s musical journey began in her father’s church, Praise Covenant Church. Her passion for gospel music led her to study music at Central Johannesburg College, after which she became a sought-after backing vocalist for many renowned gospel artists. Her collaborations include performances with Canaan Nyathi, Collen Maluleke, Lebo Sekgobela, and participation in significant projects like Spirit of Praise 7 and Gospel Goes Classical South Africa. Notably, in 2019, she contributed to the global project, The Lion King (movie edition), under the leadership of Khaya Mthethwa and Lebo M.
