Dumi Mkokstad and Ayanda Ntanzi will return to Bulawayo on November 30 as part of the Spirit of Praise ensemble. The group brings its Next Level Tour to the City of Kings. This marks their third visit to Bulawayo in two years.
The lineup includes Lufuno Dagada, Mpumi Mtsweni, Omega Khunou, Sindi Ntombela, Xola Toto, Zaza Mokhethi, Everton Mlalazi and Canaan Nyathi. Each artist brings a strong following and a tested presence in gospel music.
Pastor Mthunzi Namba will serve as the guest of honour. His influence in gospel music spans decades. Many remember him for his role in building Joyous Celebration. His presence adds depth and credibility to the event.
Ayanda Ntanzi shared his excitement about returning to Bulawayo. He last performed in the city in 2024. He said he felt welcomed from the first moment he arrived. He connected with the people and appreciated hearing familiar Zulu spoken around him. He said Bulawayo feels like home. He looks forward to sharing worship and praise with the audience again.
Thulani Mkokstad, manager to Dumi Mkokstad, confirmed that Dumi is ready to deliver a strong set. Dumi recently released a live project with the song Lingevinjwe. The track has gained attention in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Thulani said Dumi enjoys performing in Bulawayo and values the connection he has with fans there. He said Dumi may perform Lingevinjwe live for the first time in the city.
The event promises a high level of worship and music. Bulawayo’s Mbo Mahocs will host the night. Gospel fans can expect strong performances, meaningful moments and a full evening of praise.
