Musa Yende, a seasoned backing vocalist from Spruitview, Ekurhuleni, has spent over a decade supporting top South African gospel artists, including Bishop Benjamin Dube and Dr Tumi. After years behind the scenes, she made her mark as a solo artist with her debut EP, Sustained by Grace.
The EP, a seven-track project celebrating God’s guidance in her life, has already cemented her presence in the gospel scene. Musa describes her journey as sustained entirely by divine grace. “Everything I have achieved is by God’s grace. My EP reflects that testimony,” she said.
Musa’s work has earned recognition across the industry. She was nominated for Best Newcomer at the first Women Gospel Awards and continues to attract attention for her unique voice and heartfelt performances.
Now, her focus is on expanding her solo career. She aims to take her music to a global audience and inspire listeners with her testimony. She is also planning collaborations with top gospel musicians, including some of the artists she supported as a backing vocalist.
With her debut EP already resonating with fans, Musa Yende is committed to growing her brand as a solo gospel artist. She continues to blend experience, faith, and talent, making her one of South Africa’s most promising gospel voices today.
