South African singer Mpumi Mtsweni has postponed her highly anticipated Port Elizabeth show, which was originally set for 16 August 2025. The announcement was made through Tshabz Holdings and confirmed that the decision came after careful consideration.
Mtsweni explained that ticket sales had not reached the level needed to deliver the “full, unforgettable experience” she envisioned for her fans. She stressed that the move was not taken lightly and that her priority is ensuring every supporter enjoys a top-quality performance.
“You mean a lot to us, and we want our time together to be nothing short of amazing,” read the official statement. “We’ll dance, sing, and create beautiful memories together very soon.”
While a new date for the event has not yet been set, Mtsweni assured fans that it will be announced in due course. Those who have already purchased tickets can request a refund via Computicket.
The singer also addressed her followers on social media, sharing that this was “really not an easy decision to come to.” She expressed gratitude for the love, patience, and loyalty her supporters have shown throughout her career.
By postponing the Port Elizabeth show, Mtsweni aims to return with a production that matches her artistic vision and gives fans the memorable experience they deserve.
