Newcastle Alive Gospel Music Festival Set to Fill Show Grounds with Spirit of Worship

The spirit of worship will take centre stage at the Newcastle Show Grounds this September as the Newcastle Alive Gospel Music Festival arrives on Saturday, 13 September 2025. Presented by Hope M Enterprise, the festival promises an evening of praise, worship, and uplifting performances by some of South Africa’s most celebrated gospel artists.

The star-studded lineup features Xoli Mncwango, Dumi Mkokstad, Ayanda Ntanzi, Sindi Ntombela, Nontokozo Mkhize, and Newcastle’s own Hle Ntombela. They will be joined by a selection of local talents who will bring their unique sounds and testimonies to the stage, creating a dynamic and inspiring worship experience.

Tickets start from R270, offering access to a family-friendly event suitable for all ages. Organisers emphasise that the festival aims to unite the community through song, prayer, and celebration, while showcasing Newcastle’s growing reputation as a key destination for gospel music in KwaZulu-Natal.

Newcastle has a strong tradition of hosting impactful faith-based gatherings, including events such as the Ngingufakazi Newcastle Gospel Music Festival and the Newcastle Gospel Celebration Festival. The Alive Gospel Music Festival is poised to build on this legacy, further establishing the city as a central hub for gospel events on the national calendar.

Gates open at 6:00 PM at the Newcastle Show Grounds, Airport Industrial. Secure your tickets via Computicket to be part of this powerful night of worship, praise, and community spirit.
