South African worship collective Omega Circle is celebrating a major milestone after its breakout single Ngembathe captured the hearts of listeners across the SADC region, inspiring more than 2,000 user-generated videos on social media and gaining radio airplay in South Africa, Eswatini, Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

The song, whose title translates to “Cover Me,” has become the emotional centerpiece of the group’s latest EP, Spirit Lift Me touching worshippers through its heartfelt message of seeking God’s protection, grace and presence during life’s most difficult moments.

Unlike many songs that gain popularity through major promotional campaigns, Ngembathe has spread organically as listeners continue sharing personal videos using the track as the soundtrack to testimonies, family moments, prayer sessions, church gatherings and messages of encouragement.

Its lyrics express unwavering faith in God despite uncertainty, declaring:

“Ngembathe ngembathe, ngezandla zomusa wakho… Cover me with Your hands of grace.”
