Xolly Mncwango Celebrates Major Career Milestone with Multiple Platinum & Gold Certifications

Multi-award-winning gospel powerhouse Xolly Mncwango has added yet another milestone to her illustrious career, earning multiple music sales certifications during her Unusual Encounter shows at the Durban ICC on 2 and 3 August 2025.

The back-to-back, sold-out performances in her home province of KwaZulu-Natal became even more unforgettable when she was presented with plaques honouring the commercial success of some of her most beloved songs:

The plaque presentation marks another high point in what has been a landmark year for the singer. It follows the release of Unusual Encounter — the expanded 2024 edition of her acclaimed album — featuring new live-recorded tracks, as well as her historic back-to-back Durban ICC shows, the first of which sold out within hours of being announced.

From multiple Metro FM Music Awards to an impressive collection of gold and platinum records, Xolly’s career continues its remarkable ascent. Her artistry blends anointing, unshakable faith, and an electrifying connection with audiences that few can match.

Her latest release, The Unusual Deluxe, is out now — an extended version of the 2024 Unusual album. The deluxe edition includes all 21 original tracks plus five additional live performances recorded at her 2024 Carnival City concert.
