Collen Maluleke Celebrates 10 Years in Music with Live Recording “A Decade of Open Heavens”

Gospel powerhouse Collen Maluleke is marking a major milestone in his career, celebrating 10 years in the music industry. The Amazulu hitmaker, who also serves as a pastor at Goshen City Church, will mark the occasion with a live recording titled A Decade of Open Heavens on 28 November 2025 at House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg South.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the 37-year-old artist described reaching a decade in music as a significant moment. “For me, a decade in the music industry is a big deal. I’m truly blessed and grateful to God for this great milestone,” he said.

The live recording revisits the Open Heavens theme, which was the title of his debut live album released in 2015 that launched him into the national spotlight. “Well, it’s a celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past decade when I recorded my very first live album titled Open Heavens, and since then I’ve seen God open the heavens over me. We are also casting the vision for the next decade,” he added.

Over the years, Collen has grown both musically and spiritually. “Mainly, I’ve learned more about myself and the sound I want to produce. I can say my songwriting has truly grown, and reflects my relationship with God. I’ve learned the power of consistency to achieve your goal. I’ve learned the value of relationships and partnerships,” he explained.

For Collen, this decade represents a testimony of grace. “God’s faithfulness, I never thought I’d be here right now. What started off as a dream is slowly becoming a legacy.”

Fans attending the live recording can expect a mix of old favourites and new material. “We will be announcing some of the artists and industry friends and colleagues to be featured, and people can expect some of their personal favourite songs from my four previous albums as well as about 13 brand-new original songs,” Collen said.

Balancing music, ministry, and family life has been a key factor in his success. “Teamwork, my wife is a great gift to me. She keeps everything glued together. I would wrack this whole thing without her. I have a great team that handles Goshen, and an amazing team that looks after the music. So, everything has someone great running it,” he shared.

A Decade of Open Heavens promises to be both a celebration of Collen Maluleke’s past achievements and a vision for the future, highlighting his growth as a gospel artist, pastor, and family man.
