Night of Intimate Worship with Dr Sipho Ngwenya Set to Ignite Vosloorus

Dr Sipho Ngwenya is bringing some of South Africa’s top gospel artists to Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, for a soul-stirring concert. The Civic Centre will host the event on Saturday, 1 November, in what promises to be an unforgettable evening of worship and spiritual connection. Titled Night of Intimate Worship with Dr Sipho Ngwenya, the event aims to create a powerful atmosphere for music lovers and worshippers alike.

Ngwenya, who has performed across South Africa and the continent, said the concert is a tribute to the township that nurtured his talent. “I’m celebrated outside my township, so I decided it was time to perform where it all began,” he said. The event will gather top gospel artists to minister through music, offering the community a chance to engage in heartfelt worship and spiritual reflection. Fans can expect a line-up of performances designed to draw attendees closer to God.

A total of 12 artists will perform during the event, including Sipho Makhabane, Bishop Joey Mofoleng, Sindi Ntombela, Mpumi Mtshweni, Xolani Jwaga, Thinah, Ndumiso Zungu, and Ngwenya himself. Each performance will highlight the depth and diversity of South African gospel music. Ngwenya emphasised that the concert is not just entertainment but a space for spiritual healing, reflection, and communal worship.
