Kingdmusic’s 5th Studio Album “JOY” Drops 30 January 2026

South African multi-award-winning artist Kingdmusic is set to release his highly anticipated fifth studio album, JOY, on 30 January 2026. Drawing inspiration from Nehemiah 8:10, “the joy of the Lord is your strength,” the album is a heartfelt celebration of faith, resilience, and the intentional choice to live with joy through every season of life.

JOY captures Kingdmusic’s personal journey and artistic growth, blending contemporary Christian pop, R&B, gospel, and worship. The album offers both uplifting anthems and reflective moments, creating music that resonates with everyday faith while appealing to a global audience.

With standout tracks such as Hallelujah, Always On Time, and Welcome Home, JOY guides listeners into moments of praise, gratitude, and intimacy with God. The album balances bold declarations of faith with quieter, reflective moments, making it perfect for both personal listening and communal worship.

One of the most moving tracks, Jerusalem, is a reimagining of a classic South African hymn. Reflecting on life, death, and the promise of eternity in Christ, Kingdmusic wrote the song while attending the funeral of a close friend’s father, giving it a deeply personal and emotional resonance.
